The Second Zibo-Tsingtao Beer Festival, aiming to create a great mix of flowing beer, tasty cuisine, technology, leisure and art, opened on Friday evening in Zibo, East China's Shandong province.
With light shows, cultural performances and music shows entertaining revelers at the grand opening ceremony at the Zibo Convention Center, where the festival is taking place, Zibo locals will be able to enjoy beer and delicacies with their friends until August 1.
During the 10-day carnival, there will be a host of fun activities such as a beer-drinking competition, robot competition and snow and ice sports experiences. A wide variety of international beers will be available at the carnival, enabling Zibo locals to sample the tastes of the world without going abroad.
This year, the beer festival has attached great attention preventing potential COVID-19 outbreaks, including asking attendees to wear masks and check their health codes when entering the venue, as well as measures of regular disinfection and ventilation of the venue and restrictions on the number of visitors and volume of traffic flows.
