The Qingdao Optoelectronic Industrial Park staff dormitory project, located within the Qingdao New Display Industrial Park, has been selected for the second batch of Shandong Province's Constructional Engineering Smart Construction Pilot Projects. This recognition highlights the project's role as a benchmark for high-tech, industrialized housing in the region.
As the first high-rise concrete Modular Integrated Construction project in Shandong, the development includes seven dormitories alongside supporting facilities such as dining halls and municipal roads. Notably, Buildings 1 and 2 utilize advanced concrete modular integration technology, achieving a remarkable assembly rate of 73 percent. This pioneering approach sets a new standard for efficient and sustainable construction within the provincial tech sector.
To ensure precision and safety, the project has employed the C-Smart Intelligent Construction Interaction Platform. This system integrates facial recognition, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing to collect real-time site data. By funneling information into a centralized management platform, the system automates decision-making and provides comprehensive monitoring of personnel, environmental protection, and material progress.
Upon completion, the project will accommodate over 6,500 industry talents and professionals. By significantly raising the living standards for local experts, the facility is expected to boost the industrial capacity and talent attractiveness of the Qingdao New Display Industrial Park, further driving regional economic growth.
