The Green Book Store officially opened its doors on Dec 12 at the Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark within the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, or Qingdao FTZ. This new multi-functional cultural space offers book lending services, art exhibits, and public workshops for all ages.

Developed by the Sino-German Ecopark, the Green Pavilion Art Center breaks boundaries by integrating book lending, art exhibitions, creative exchange, and art training. It aims to provide a deep integration of reading and art experiences.

Culture is seen not just as an embellishment to everyday life but as a key way to attract and retain talent. The park plans to introduce more high-quality cultural offerings, ensuring it serves as both an industrial hub for innovation and a spiritual haven for residents.

"Previously, taking my child to cultural activities required traveling far. Now, it's just a walk away, offering convenient access to reading, exhibitions, and art classes," said a local resident.

Looking ahead, the Sino-German Ecopark will deepen its "culture +" development model, promoting the coordinated growth of cultural industries and the regional economy. It aims to turn cultural influence into the foundation of high-quality development, injecting vitality into the building of a modern, livable, and workable ecological community.
