Ecostar, a subsidiary of Doublestar Group, has achieved a prestigious recognition with its "Key Technology and Equipment for High-Value Tire Recycling" project being named a 2025 Typical Case of Ecological and Environmental Achievement Transformation. This recognition highlights Ecostar's leadership in turning waste into sustainable resources through cutting-edge industrial applications.
At the core of this success is a unique, high-value circular model that covers the entire lifecycle of a tire — from green raw material management and manufacturing to recycling and high-value reuse. By creating a closed-loop "Resource-Product-Waste-Renewable Resource" chain, Ecostar effectively turns "pollution" into "profit". The company's operations adhere to "5D standards", which emphasize safety, environmental protection, energy efficiency, high quality, and intelligence.
A technological breakthrough in this initiative is Ecostar's proprietary green thermal cracking technology. This system converts end-of-life tires into approximately 40 percent oil, 30 percent carbon black, 20 percent steel wire, and 10 percent combustible gas. Achieving "zero emissions, zero residue, and zero pollution", the project is the only major scientific special project in this field recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Furthermore, Ecostar has established the world's first "four-in-one" demonstration factory. This facility integrates ecological recycling, reclaimed rubber production, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 solutions. By providing a global model for sustainable tire processing, Ecostar is not only driving technological progress but also upgrading the industrial value chain for a low-carbon future.
