As sunlight filters through the light mist, the feathers of wild ducks shimmer with a soft and delicate luster. The elusive silhouette of the black swan adds a mysterious touch to the tranquil wetlands.

Along the water's edge, a variety of different birds harmoniously coexist, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of life in their unique way. Amid this poetic winter landscape, they celebrate the beauty and miracles of nature.

Tangdaowan National Wetland Park is located on one of the four major global bird migration flyways passing through China, known as the East Asia-Australasia Flyway. It serves as a vital stopover for migratory birds, with millions of waterbirds passing through during migration season every year.

Surveys and monitoring have identified 145 bird species in Tangdaowan National Wetland Park, including 109 species of wintering and migratory birds.

With temperatures dropping further, more wintering waterbirds are expected to soon find their way to the park, enriching this natural sanctuary even more.
