The Third Qingdao West Coast New Area Grape Picking Festival took place in Dacun town on Sept 29, aiming to further promote the development of the region's grape industry and contribute to rural vitalization.

Through a live broadcast, audiences delved into the history, varieties, nutritional value and diverse flavors of the grapes cultivated in Dacun town. It also highlighted the town's strides in developing distinctive agricultural practices to foster common prosperity.
Dacun town predominantly cultivates the Shine Muscat grape variety across 18 plantation areas covering about 3,100 mu (206.67 hectares), creating jobs for more than 1,000 local residents.
Moreover, the festival showcased the town's global tourism map, promoting the fusion of agriculture and tourism and contributing to the advancement of rural communities.
