Qingdao West Coast New Area intelligent community receives outstanding honor

The intelligent community project of Qingdao West Coast New Area can now claim the remarkable achievement of being the only one in Qingdao recognized by the National Data Administration as a typical case of the citywide digital transformation.

With the efficient coordination of technology-empowered constructions and data-driven operations, Qingdao West Coast New Area has built intelligent communities facilitating resource interchange among neighborhoods. Meanwhile, with a focus on the needs of residents, governmental demand, and the sustained growth of enterprises, Qingdao West Coast New Area has expanded its urban intelligent service framework comprehensively.

Qingdao West Coast New Area is made up of 205 intelligent communities and 1,453 intelligent districts, and the area has seen returns from value-added services. It fostered the comprehensive, balanced, and sustainable development of intelligent communities by implementing adjustments and providing complementary measures through funds.

In the future, Qingdao West Coast New Area will continue to explore and promote new models for the long-term operation of intelligent communities, integrating online and offline resources to reduce the cost of property enterprises and alleviate the burden of residents' property fees, aiming for a mutually beneficial outcome for the government, residents, and enterprises.
