TAG Museum celebrates 3 years of art on Qingdao's west coast

The Xihai Art Museum, also known as TAG Art Museum, celebrated its third anniversary on Aug 12.

The museum, which is nestled on the south bank of Tangdao Bay in Qingdao West Coast New Area, has established itself as a cultural beacon, hosting 18 contemporary art exhibitions since its inception.

In addition to these exhibitions, the museum has served as a hub for China-France cultural exchange projects and has showcased solo exhibitions by internationally acclaimed artists.

The TAG Art Museum has garnered numerous accolades for its high-quality exhibitions, the elegance of its architectural design and the beauty of its surroundings.

It was the only Chinese museum selected by Larry's List as one of the "14 Must-Visit Art Museums in the World" in 2022. The museum also consecutively won the "Top 10 Art Institutions of the Year" at the 13th and 14th National Arts Jinxing Awards in 2022 and 2023, the "Best Public Building" at the 6th IDEAT Future Award in 2022, the "Art Museum of the Year" at the Ganlan Art Awards in 2022, and the "Art Museum of the Year" at the BBART Awards in 2023, amassing over 20 awards in total.
