The 2024 Ocean Cooperation and Development Forum is set to take place at the Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition in Qingdao West Coast New Area from Oct 24 to 25, under the theme "From Azure to Future - Creating a Healthy and Prosperous Ocean, Fostering a Sustainable Future".
The forum is one of China's most significant and internationally-influential ocean cooperation events, designed to foster dialogue and cooperation in marine environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance.

The forum's agenda encompasses an opening ceremony, a main forum, the East Asian Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Dialogue, and discussions on pivotal marine economy topics such as shipping, logistics, new energy, blue finance, biomedicine, high-end manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digitalization, and climate change.
The forum is expected to draw nearly 400 distinguished guests from the global marine sector, including representatives from China's Ministry of Natural Resources, Shandong province officials, United Nations marine management agency officials, heads of international marine organizations, renowned marine experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
In conjunction with the forum, a series of exhibitions and events will be held, including the Shandong Marine Development Achievements Exhibition, the East Asia Marine Expo, the World's Most Beautiful Bay Photography Exhibition, and the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Qingdao International Tournament.
