Street dance festival wraps up with innovative performances

The 5th Qingdao Fashion Sports Festival's Street Dance Competition, held from July 26 to 28 at the Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area, has wrapped up after showcasing a blend of innovation and energy. This year's event broke from traditional street dance formats, introducing new elements that allowed dancers to push boundaries and express themselves freely on stage.

Over the course of three days, the competition featured a prize pool of 60,000 yuan (about $8,200) and included several categories: popping solo, freestyle solo, all-star team battles, and a youth star battle. The festival brought together renowned judges and guest stars, including NESS, the world champion in Popping from France, SOONBIN, a rising star from South Korea, China's Animation, the waacking sensation Jinkii from Korea, and TASU from Japan, among other celebrated dancers.

The event's innovative approach and high-energy performances made it a memorable experience for both participants and spectators, celebrating the dynamic world of street dance.
