Coinciding with the 34th Qingdao International Beer Festival, the Phoenix Sound Theater in Qingdao West Coast New Area launched its six-year anniversary celebrations on July 19.
As a cultural and tourism hub, the theater has been a regular venue for diverse performances over the past six years. Capitalizing on its idyllic setting near mountains, the sea, and beaches, the theater is expanding into new forms of tourism, including coastal camping.

On the anniversary, the theater hosted a concert by the popular band Nan Quan Mama and announced a 23-day run of a large-scale magic show, integrating stage arts such as lighting, music, dance, and magic. Adding to the festivities, a Russian children's ballet troupe will perform Cinderella at the theater on Aug 3.
In collaboration with the International Exhibition and Experience Center and the city's gift brand store, the theater has also introduced an intangible cultural heritage market, showcasing traditional handicrafts and offering visitors a rich taste of Qingdao and Qingdao West Coast New Area's regional culture.
