An upcoming event in Qingdao West Coast New Area from June 14 to 23 will see the fusion of the 2nd China Ocean Food Culture Festival and the inaugural 2024 Ethnic Food Culture Festival.

The main focus of this year's festivals is to highlight local characteristics by showcasing regional specialties, local ingredients, and intangible cultural heritage. It will feature themed banquets and food-tasting exchanges to display the allure of ethnic food culture.

The festivities will include five professional conferences and forums, two national food cooking championships, three professional training sessions, as well as various industry field visits and experiences.

Additionally, the commercial square will host a lively food carnival that will be open to the public, presenting a variety of renowned Chinese snacks, ethnic foods, and traditional Chinese food brands at 66 booths.

The marine ingredient exhibition area, spanning nearly 20,000 square meters, will exhibit marine ingredients, specialty foods, and high-quality ingredients for group meals, catering to the needs of seafood terminal enterprises. Over 320 brands and 263 companies have confirmed their participation, with more than 180 companies unveiling new products and popular items.
