On May 10, the Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the talented Chen Yanlin and featuring the acclaimed violinist Liu Yuxia, performed at the inaugural symphony concert at the newly completed West Coast Art Center in Qingdao West Coast New Area.

The arts center offers a range of public spaces including an art hall, experimental theater, conference center, and art training center, setting the stage for a diverse array of cultural events.
It is set to become a cultural hub, hosting over a hundred concerts, stage plays, and other vibrant activities annually, with plans to incorporate art exhibitions and educational initiatives in the future.
Noteworthy is the innovative approach taken by the center, which combines an art center with a hotel, a first in China. The interior of the art hotel features 150 guest rooms and full-service amenities.
