The Haiqing Tea Culture Festival was recently held in Haiqing town, Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA). It showcased the high-quality development achievements of Haiqing tea in an effort to further expand the influence of the area's agricultural tourism, focused on tea, in the Qingdao WCNA.

During the event, local culture and tourism authorities announced four high-quality tourist routes for the spring and summer seasons, allowing tourists to fully experience the unique charm of Haiqing and its tea while strolling through the tea fields, pathways, and traditional residences.

At the event, representatives from catering, cultural tourism, and related enterprises signed sales and subscription agreements and strategic cooperation agreements with tea enterprises in the town and the local government, which will aid in the dissemination of Haiqing tea culture and promote the high-quality development of the local tea industry.

In recent years, Qingdao WCNA has doubled down on its efforts to become a model area for rural vitalization in Shandong province. By hosting large-scale events such as the 20th China International Agricultural Products Fair, the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, and the Grain Rain Tea Picking Festival, the area has managed to create distinctive brands for its agricultural products. These efforts have continuously enhanced the appeal of regional public brands such as Haiqing tea and driven the comprehensive upgrading of rural industries.

This year, the Haiqing Tea Culture Festival served as a platform for cooperation in the tea industry and the dissemination of tea culture. It was aimed at exploring new development models, promoting the "Haiqing Tea" brand, and developing rural industries, thus expediting the transformation and upgrading of agriculture.
