The 26th China Fisheries and Seafood Expo commenced in Qingdao on Oct 25 and will run until Oct 27. Spanning an exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, the event features over 1,650 exhibitors from 51 countries and regions.

The expo is showcasing a wide range of aquatic raw materials, processed products, seafood, aquaculture and processing machinery, equipment, as well as related technologies and services, from both domestic and international sources.

On Oct 25, several exchange and exhibition events took place, including the China-ASEAN Fisheries Cooperation Forum, the "Capture the Splendor of Chinese Fishing Culture through Photography" exhibition, and the 2023 Canada Seafood Conference.

Since the first edition held in Qingdao in 1996, the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo has grown into one of Asia's largest fisheries exhibitions and the world's largest seafood trade shows.

The event helps facilitate the exchange of advanced concepts and technologies in the fisheries industry and promotes global seafood trade, said local officials.
