On June 1, the Fenghuangshan Road Bridge commenced operations, marking a pivotal milestone in the urban renewal initiative at Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA).

Stretching over 350 meters across the Feng River, the bridge is strategically positioned west of Binhai Avenue. It has established an essential connection between the bustling southern CBD (central business district) and the rejuvenating northern healthy living district.

As a primary artery within the area's transportation network, Fenghuangshan Road Bridge boasts a six-lane, dual-carriageway layout and acts as a vital cog in linking the north-south transit routes in the area's western region.

This momentous infrastructure venture is poised to have a profound impact on alleviating the burden of north-south commuting in the western sector, providing much-needed relief from traffic congestion. It will also bolster the region's carrying capacity, streamlining traffic movement and mitigating congestion on both banks of the Feng River. Ultimately, the recently unveiled bridge will serve as a symbol of the area's ambition to seamlessly integrate industrial and urban development while creating a captivating landmark that enhances the livability of the city.
