Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA), which is the ninth national-level new district in China, recently unveiled its latest endeavor to promote high-quality development in the exhibition industry with the "Coast of Exhibition" Innovation Conference.
The event, which has the theme of "Exhibition Empowerment, Innovative Development," kicked off on April 22, gathering industry leaders and local authorities to explore new strategies for invigorating economic growth through the exhibition sector.
As part of a broader effort to bolster the local economy, the conference attracted high-quality projects, which brought leading domestic and international enterprises to call the new district their home. The area's unmistakable advantages, such as its favorable location, industry orientation, and supportive policies, were lauded by speakers and attendees alike.
In addition, eight standout companies were recognized with the "Coast of Exhibition" award, reflecting the new area's commitment to nurturing excellence in the exhibition industry. Government officials of the new district were vocal about their plans to deepen reform and innovation, pledging to direct resources, such as funds, talent, and technology, towards enhancing exhibition industry development.
Apart from streamlining the business environment, the area's administration also encouraged participating companies to explore innovative solutions, embrace carbon neutrality, and contribute to the accelerated high-quality growth of the district.
