A modern agricultural industrial park operated by Qingdao West Coast Agricultural Development Group Co in Baoshan town, Qingdao, Shandong province, is capable of producing more than 10,000 kilograms of blueberries and generates profits of more than 1 million yuan ($143,000) thanks to the introduction of efficient agricultural management technology.

The group has established a crop growth model to achieve delicacy irrigation and fertilization by using a big data and agricultural smart big data integrated management platform that can collect various real-time data such as air temperature and humidity, soil moisture and temperature, carbon dioxide and light intensity in greenhouses.
In recent years, the enterprise has made great efforts to develop smart agriculture and promote the deep integration of digital technology and the whole agricultural industrial chain. It has built modern agricultural industrial parks that cover an area of nearly 2,000 mu (133 hectares) in Haiqing town, Baoshan town and Dacun town, and aims to produce and plant high-quality vegetables and fruits. Now it has formed a number of domestically leading smart agricultural development models.
The group is also focused on scientific and technological agricultural innovation, and has carried out a number of research projects on new varieties of crops such as blueberries, tomatoes and wheat. It has achieved the one new plant variety right, one invention patent, four utility model patents, five software copyright certificates, and four technical papers.
The company plans to cooperate with KingAgroot and accelerate the research process for the integration of the modern seed industry.
