Hilltop park fashion season kicks off in Qingdao WCNA

Themed on "finding beauty among the hills", the 2022 Qingdao hilltop park fashion season kicked off at Xushan Culture Park in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) on Nov 26.

As the first park with a cultural theme in Qingdao, Xushan Culture Park debuted on September 28, and the magnificent Shantou Culture Park is being built as Qingdao WCNA picks up the pace in its pursuit of becoming a model district for society.

Due to its stunning scenery and diverse culture, Qingdao WCNA has become a filming destination for many TV dramas and movies over the years. "Favorite Wanlinqiu", the first internet and voluntary tree-planting themed film in China, started filming at the event and will be screened at every hilltop park in Qingdao WCNA.

At the same time, a series of activities, including musical performances and poetry recitals, were held at the event. Some residents, especially those with kids, said that similar events should be held more often.

This year, Qingdao WCNA listed a total of 14 hilltop parks in its construction plan. Currently, 10 parks have been completed and four are still under construction.
