Qingdao ice and snow travel season kicks off in WCNA

On Feb 17, the Qingdao ice and snow travel season opened at the Sunac Mao ski center in Qingdao West Coast New Area (WCNA) to commemorate the 2022 Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, which ended on February 20.

During the opening ceremony, an online video featuring Li Wenlong of Qingdao, who won silver in the men's 1,000-meter short track speed skating final at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, was shown. Li stated that he will continue to put in the effort necessary to bring the country glory.

In addition, a number of preferential measures were announced, including the construction of more ice and snow training grounds in 2022 to encourage more citizens to participate in ice sports.

The Qingdao ice and snow travel season is aiming to promote the spirit of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
