Recently, the Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao West Coast New Area (WCNA) signed an investment agreement with German Diehl Controls (Nanjing) Company to construct a production base.
The production base project received a total investment of 253 million yuan ($40 million), and has a goal of establishing a premier white goods supply production base in the country.

The successful completion of this project will further increase the new district's resource advantages in high-end equipment manufacturing.
The project intends to construct five production and assembly lines, with trial production beginning by the end of June 2023.

The project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 500 million yuan, providing electronic controllers and panel assembly systems for well-known household appliance brands such as Haier.
In the global white goods market, the German company DIEHL AKO Stiftung & Co KG is the market leader in electro-mechanical and electrical controls for household appliances.
