2021 Qingdao West Coast Baoshan Apple Season to launch

The 2021 Qingdao West Coast Baoshan Apple Season will be launched in Qingdao West Coast New Area on Sept 17. During this year's apple season, a series of creations integrating national landmark agricultural products and traditional Chinese culture will be released in hopes of boosting the popularity of the apples.

As an important apple production area in the New Area, Baoshan town is home to the national landmark characteristic agricultural product "Baoshan Apple", with a planting history of 66 years. Its annual output of apples can reach 25,000 tons, and the annual output value is about 160 million yuan ($24.78 million).
