The Linyi–Qingdao Port sea-rail intermodal route has been put into operation.
Today, the trade city boasts the largest cluster of professional markets in China, a key logistics hub, and a wholesale center, earning titles like "renowned trade city of China" and "China's logistics capital".
In 2024, Linyi aimed to boost the exhibition economy by leveraging its industrial advantages, hosting 156 events with 84 professional exhibitions.
