Jining has entered a new chapter in culture and tourism exchange with Australia. Wang Lei, director of Jining's culture and tourism bureau, recently led a delegation to Australia for exchange activities. The delegation introduced tailored "attractions + accommodation" tourism products for Australian tourists and promoted the overseas dissemination of Confucian culture.

During the visit, the delegation met with Australia China Travel Service and the Australia Queensland Shandong Association, reaching multiple agreements on resource sharing and tour product development. Utilizing the channels of overseas travel agencies, local connections of fellow townsmen associations, and mainstream media, Jining has comprehensively promoted its customized tourism products and rich cultural resources.

This year, Jining has strengthened collaboration with provincial inbound travel agencies, international airlines, and overseas enterprise offices. By developing specialized inbound tourism offerings like "flights + attractions" and "business + intangible cultural heritage", the city has enhanced the international recognition of its "Hometown of Confucius and Mencius, Grand Canal Capital" brand. In the first three quarters of 2025, arriving tourists in Jining increased by 111.7 percent year-on-year.
