In recent years, Jining has promoted green and low-carbon transformation across energy, industrial production and resource recycling, fostering the city's high-quality development and unlocking a realm of new development possibilities.
CATL's subsidiary, Contemporary Green Energy, recently launched a 750-megawatt wind power project in Jining, which will accelerate the development of the city's green and low-carbon industry and help it reach its targets for peaking carbon emissions.
The development of the "Fishery-Photovoltaic Complementary" model in Jining's Weishan county, which involves building a photovoltaic power station integrating fishery farming and ecological restoration, also promotes the development of distinctive agriculture.
Furthermore, Jining has made strides in industrial green development through the reuse of wastewater, solid waste utilization technologies, and the application of digital technology.
This year, Jining focused on establishing green factories, green supply chain management enterprises, and green industrial parks. So far, the city has nurtured 106 municipal-level green factories, 31 green supply chain management enterprises, and seven green industrial parks.
The city also boasts over 200 enterprises in the energy-saving and environmental protection industry cluster, establishing a pattern of coordinated development in efficient energy conservation and resource recycling.
