Jining recently welcomed over 20 global photographers for the "Opportunity China · Vitality Shandong" International Photo Festival – 100 International Photography Masters Visiting the Land of Qilu.
They were thrilled to photograph all aspects of the city as they experienced its rich culture, innovations, and development.
As the hometown of Confucius, Jining offered the visitors an unforgettable journey through its three prominent Confucian heritage sites, where they experienced Confucian culture.
"This is my second visit to the Confucius temple and mansion. I think it's more inspiring this time," said Riccardo Busi, the president of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP), adding that he will share Jining's splendid culture with more people around the world.
They also explored the 'Canal Memory' historical and cultural block, which preserves the rich history of the Grand Canal.
"The night tour on the Grand Canal is quite amazing! I will share the photos I took here with others and encourage them to visit," said Arne Bergo, FIAP's Norway officer.
In addition, they visited Shantui, a construction machinery company, and Longgong Port, where they saw how the city employs advanced technology in factories and ports.
"Longgong Port is not large but highly automated. The technology here is so advanced," said a FIAP photographer.
