Diplomats experience Confucian culture in Jining, Shandong

Diplomats from Turkmenistan, Croatia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and other countries were treated to a cultural experience at the Confucius Temple and Kong Family Mansion in Jining, Shandong on April 23.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the activity was aimed at showcasing China's cultural richness to the world.

The diplomats were immersed in a variety of traditional activities, including a promotional meeting featuring 10 unique intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items like Qufu Kaimu carvings.
They also got a close look at national ICH projects such as stone rubbings and the craftsmanship of items like Nishan inkstones and Xugongfang bows and arrows.
