With two new intelligent manufacturing lines for traditional Chinese medicine recently put into operation, the Luhua Long Shine Health Industrial Park, a production, research and development base owned by Shandong Luhua Long Shine Biotechnology Co Ltd, has realized full operation and is expected to inject new vitality into the company's high-quality development.

With an investment of 800 million yuan ($114 million), the industrial park is a key project in the Jining High-tech Zone in the city of Jining, Shandong province. The park, which houses both factory buildings and research and development centers of Shandong Luhua Long Shine Biotechnology, started operating in July 2023.

The company has since stepped up the construction and commissioning of new production lines. All 10 new production lines in the park have now been put into use, helping the company expand production.

Li Zhen, deputy general manager of Shandong Luhua Long Shine Biotechnology, said that the equipment is running well and the production utilization rate has reached 85 percent, fully meeting current market demand.

In the future, the company plans to use the park for innovative research and development and smart production, Li added.
