Jining Da'an Airport opens
Jining Da'an Airport in Jining, East China's Shandong province was officially opened on Dec 28.
The airport will have flights to 21 cities, including prominent tourist destinations such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guiyang, Changsha, Haikou and Sanya.
The first plane to land at the airport was China Southern Airlines flight CZ3953, which arrived from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport carrying 130 passengers.

Jining Da'an Airport is expected to increase its number of flights and routes starting from the summer of 2024.
The terminal building of Jining Da'an Airport covers 29,700 square meters and has 16 C-class aircraft stands and eight aerobridges.
The terminal is equipped with intelligent features and services such as paperless clearance and facial recognition that enhance efficiency and passenger experience.
