Sinotruck, a subsidiary of Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SDHI), is expected to export over 150,000 heavy-duty trucks by the end of this year, a 11 percent year-on-year increase. This was announced at the SDHI Sinotruk 2026 Partners Conference held in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on Dec 18.

Notably, the monthly export exceeded 15,000 units this September, beating its own record for monthly exports. To date, the company's products have been sold to 150 countries and regions worldwide, with the heavy-duty truck export volume ranking first in China for 21 consecutive years.

This year, Sinotruck has topped China's heavy-duty truck market for the fourth consecutive year and has become the world's leading brand in this segment. Opportunities lie in the dual tracks of new energy and intelligent technologies, especially in urban delivery, port shuttles, mining transport, as well as long-haul logistics with fast-charging and hydrogen fuel cell advancements.

Next year, Sinotruck aims to transform into a world-class commercial vehicle group by focusing on green, digital, service-oriented, international, diversified, and high-end development. By 2030, the company targets total revenue exceeding 400 billion yuan ($56.8 billion) and vehicle sales of over 800,000 units. It will diversify product categories to global markets, expand overseas R&D and production centers, and enhance after-sales services, to become a global leader in the industry.
