A Smart Dragon-3 rocket will be launched from the offshore sea in Shandong province on Aug 9. The Jielong-3 Y6 carrier rocket, developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and assembled in Haiyang, Yantai, will carry 11 satellites for the Geely constellation into a 600-kilometer LEO orbit.
