A photo exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War was recently held in Moscow.

Galina Kulikova, first vice-president of the Russia-China Friendship Association, highlighted Shandong's rich cultural heritage, mentioning Confucius, the legendary sage, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) writer Pu Songling, author of the classic tales Liaozhai Zhiyi (Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio), and the great poet Li Qingzhao of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279).

Their works have been widely translated in Russia. Shandong, a land of outstanding people and brilliant culture, continues to inspire and connect cultures, she said.
