Shandong's efforts in this area are expected to further enhance its economic vitality and cultural appeal.

For instance, during the popular movie Ne Zha 2, Lingyan Temple Scenic Area in Jinan, Shandong introduced a special offer. Visitors were able to enjoy free access to the temple with a ticket stub from the movie.

This initiative not only increased the number of visitors by around 20 percent compared to the same period in previous years but also stimulated sales of cultural and creative products and surrounding catering and accommodation services.

The success of the "ticket stub economy" lies in its ability to precisely identify potential consumers through ticket purchases, according to Li Mingtao, chief researcher of e-commerce at the China International Electronic Commerce Center.

By analyzing the data and interests of these consumers, businesses can provide more targeted products and services, creating a positive cycle of consumption, said Li.
