Shandong province, renowned as the birthplace of Confucius, brought its rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings to Tsinghua University on Sept 20.

The promotional event titled "Traveling in Shandong with Confucius" showcased the province's charm through a variety of engaging activities, including cultural performances, an intangible cultural heritage market, and interactive games.

The event kicked off with an energetic song that set the stage for a lively afternoon. Through a creative situational drama, the audience was immersed in Shandong's captivating cultural and tourism draws. A special video presentation highlighted the province's diverse attractions, inviting students to experience the beauty of Shandong.

Representatives from all 16 cities in Shandong were present to promote their unique cultural and tourism offerings, inviting students to explore the vast and varied landscapes of the province. Additionally, over 180 social practice destinations in Shandong were recommended, providing students with valuable opportunities for hands-on learning and cultural immersion.

A highlight of the event was the cultural and creative market, where visitors were able to explore a wide range of cultural products and participate in interactive games. The market showcased the best of Shandong's culture and craftsmanship, offering students a taste of the province's rich heritage.
