The Shandong China-Europe Railway Express Assembly Center was inaugurated on Sept 7 in Indjija, a town located some 50 km northwest of Belgrade, Serbia.

This center is the first of its kind for Shandong in Central and Eastern Europe, while making Shandong the first Chinese province to establish such a hub in the region.

The establishment of the center is expected to enhance the province's outbound logistics services, expand the reach of China-Europe railways, and most notably, facilitate the development of the "Shandong-Serbia-Western Europe" trans-Caspian transport corridor.

The inauguration of the center is also a significant milestone in the development of Shandong's China-Europe Railway Express and demonstrates the province's commitment to deepening cooperation with Serbia.

Looking ahead, Shandong plans to develop a series of high-quality China-Europe Railway Express routes. By expanding its network across the Balkan Peninsula and Central and Eastern Europe, Shandong aims to create a more robust and efficient logistics system that can better serve the needs of its businesses and customers.
