Fruzsina Pap, a reporter from MTVA, one of Hungary's largest media companies, highlighted the role the Qingdao Multinationals Summit has played in fostering communications among business leaders from different countries during an interview at the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit on Aug 29.

Themed "Multinationals and China", the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit was held from Aug 27 to 29 in Qingdao, Shandong province. The event attracted over 500 attendees, representing 451 multinational companies from 37 countries and regions seeking new opportunities for cooperation.

Agreements for 163 projects were signed during the three-day event, which cover various fields, including intelligent manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, advanced materials, new energy, modern logistics and cross-border trade.

Pap expressed her hope that more Hungarian investors would be invited to participate in next year's summit.
