Dragon boat races flourish across Shandong province

Dragon boat racing is a traditional custom of the Dragon Boat Festival in China.

It has been designated as a national intangible cultural heritage item, and grand dragon boat races are held every year, especially in Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong provinces and other places.

Dragon boat races are also held in many places in Shandong province before and after the Dragon Boat Festival.
