Promotional event held in Seoul to boost cultural ties

On April 16, the 2024 Friendly Shandong Remarkable Shandong South Korea promotion event was held in Seoul, South Korea, with over 200 people in attendance. The event served as a platform to showcase Shandong's rich cultural heritage, diverse natural landscapes, and exquisite products, further strengthening the cultural ties between China and South Korea.

The event witnessed the launch of a photography expedition activity, and strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Shandong and South Korean media outlets, paving the way for further collaboration.

During the event, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism gave a captivating introduction to Shandong's profound cultural heritage, abundant natural resources, warm hospitality, and time-honored traditions. Cities like Yantai, Jining, and Weihai took the stage, utilizing interactive presentations to unveil their captivating natural scenery and rich cultural landmarks and the cherished friendship between China and South Korea.

To offer a more immersive experience, four interactive exhibition zones were set up: Mega Projects, Shandong Culture, Intangible Cultural Heritage Handmade, and Flavors of Shandong. Through guided tours, live demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, participants from South Korea had the opportunity to intimately experience Shandong's warm hospitality, exquisite craftsmanship, and delectable cuisine.

The event also featured a media forum, bringing together prominent South Korean media program producers and their Shandong counterparts. The forum delved into the application and exploration of AI technology in documentary filmmaking and the creation of high-quality programs, while also discussing future industry trends.
