Jinan's Fuxue Wenmiao, commonly known as the Confucian Temple of Shandong province, reopened to the public on Dec 21, 2023.

Dacheng Hall, the main building of the Fuxue Wenmiao, started renovations in July 2023. The comprehensive renovation included replacing decayed and damaged wooden components, re-thatching, and rehanging tiles.

The Fuxue Wenmiao is located north of Daming Lake, near Fuyong Street. It was established during the Xining period of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and has served as a center of culture and education throughout the dynasties.

The Fuxue Wenmiao is open from 9 am to 5 pm (with last entry at 4:30 pm) from Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays (except national holidays).

Visitors are required to present their identification cards upon entry.
