Xiong made her debut in the ONE Championship in 2017. The following year, she became the first Chinese athlete to win a world title in the event. She went on to defend her title seven times over the next five years.

Xiong exemplifies the spirit of Shandong, combining unwavering determination with compassionate values. For example, during the 2018 Shanghai ONE Championship, noticing her opponent was in distress, Xiong promptly stopped the fight, requesting medical assistance for her.

Quiet and simple off the ring, decisive and brave in the ring, Xiong believes that women should not be confined by societal standards.
