Shandong Heavy Industry Group, one of China's major heavy-duty truck manufacturers, had a meeting with Allur Group, a Kazakhstani car manufacturer and distributor, on Sept 2 in Astana, Kazakhstan to strengthen their strategic cooperation ties.

Tan Xuguang, chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, said that Allur Group is the largest automobile production and sales enterprise in Kazakhstan. By joining hands, Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Allur Group will help develop the local Kazakhstani industry.

Andrey Lavrentyev, chairman of the Board of Allur Group, said that Shandong Heavy Industry Group is one of the most resource-rich manufacturing groups in the world, and that it has achieved high-quality development in recent years. The two sides have made good joint-progress in the field of agricultural equipment.

Kazakhstan's strategic position in Central Asia is very important, and Lavrentyev hopes that the two sides will continue to expand their comprehensive cooperation for mutually-beneficial future development.
