The Weifang kite-making technique is a national intangible cultural heritage item from the city of Weifang, in East China's Shandong province.

From Aug 27 to 30, a group of expats attended a special course there to learn about how to build them and to explore the unique charms of Weifang's intangible cultural heritage.
