Shandong holds Yellow River culture, art works competition

Print PrintShandong province recently started an essay and short video collection competition to showcase Yellow River culture.
With the theme of "Telling the story of the Yellow River in Shandong and protecting the roots of Qilu Culture", the competition is sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Literary works, short videos, paintings and calligraphy themed on the rich Yellow River culture and excellent Qilu culture can be submitted for the competition.

Prose, poetry, fiction and other subjects are acceptable, with 1,000 to 3,000 words for prose, 2,500 to 8,000 words for fiction, and at least 20 lines for poetry submissions.
Short documentary, animation, aerial video, and VR video works are all acceptable as there is no limitation for each type. The duration of the video work shall not exceed five minutes, the video format shall be in MP4 format, the picture quality shall not be less than 1080P, and the size shall be limited to 1G.
There will be a number of first, second and third prize winners in the categories of essays, short videos and calligraphy and paintings, and several awards of excellence will be handed out as well. In addition to the award certificates, the winners are also eligible for tickets and accommodation gift in the province's scenic spots.
The submission period will last until Jan 10, 2023, and the awards ceremony will be held in late February 2023.
