The first Nishan World Intellectual Businessmen Culture Forum kicked of in Qufu on Sept 26.

More than 80 Confucianism masters, scholars, famous entrepreneurs, and Confucian descendants from across the world took part in the forum via online and offline channels. Participants shared their views on the integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture and industrial and commercial civilization in the new era.

Jiang Cheng, vice-governor of Shandong, addressed the forum by saying excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root and soul for the Chinese nation, and the intellectual businessmen culture, which combines the fine traditional Chinese culture and the advanced socialist culture, shows strong vitality and a long lasting appeal.

Jiang added that Shandong is an important birthplace of Confucianism, an important place to inherit intellectual businessmen culture, and the province plans to explore innovative ways to discover the essence of intellectual businessmen culture. Efforts are expected to be made to coordinate epidemic prevention and control measures with economic and social development, and build an excellent industrial system to offer first-class services for entrepreneurs from across the world.

An promotional investment event was also held during the forum, which showed participants the achievements Shandong has made in the development of cultural exchanges, and also introduced them to Jining's key industries, as well as the national cultural export base in the Jinan Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
