A slew of business tycoons has confirmed that they will attend the Second Conference of Great Business Partners and International Summit on Innovation and Development for Youth Entrepreneurs, which will open online in Shandong on June 30.

The list includes Xu Rongmao, president of Shimao Group, Dong Mingzhu, chairwoman of home appliance giant Gree Electric Appliances, Guo Ping, deputy chairman and rotating chairman at Huawei Technologies Co, Yao Jun, chairman of Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company, Sun Pishu, chairman and CEO of Inspur Group, a major server maker and big data company, Tan Xuguang, president of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co, and Jiang Bin, president of Goertek Inc.

According to the organizers, 3,545 people have registered for the event as of June 22. Among them, 219 are from Fortune 500 companies, 193 are from China's top 500 companies, 999 are from industry-leading enterprises and 356 are from start-ups.

The event, which will be jointly hosted by the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, is designed to facilitate business and investment, promote cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao, and expand opening-up efforts.

Shandong's 16 cities will also host a series of promotional activities to promote business and cooperation.
