A succession of customers walked into the Love Food Hong Kong style restaurant in Jinan, capital of Shandong at night and entered the dining area after completing the above three procedures.
Only 24 of the 50 tables were used so that guests could be adequately spaced out.
This is the first time for a local resident, surnamed Sun and her seven friends to go out for dinner since the epidemic began.
When they arrived at Love Food, they were directed to a large private room that could seat more than 10 people, allowing them to sit more than a meter apart.
Sun praised the service at the restaurant, as the dishes were delivered to the table under a protective.
The Love Food restaurant is affiliated with Shandong Camry Commercial Group.
To date, more than 70 stores owned by the group are allowing customers to dine in.
Hou Mingjing, a staff member, said that the restaurant resumed dine-in services on March 6. The passenger flow steadily increased and now the restaurant receives nearly 20 tables of guests per day.
At Chaoyixing fast food restaurant, located in Quancheng Road in Jinan, a line of nearly 20 customers standing one meter apart are ordering food.
Service staff members use disposable tableware to serve meals. Customers get take-out or eat at the restaurant. A total of 30 tables designed to seat four people are being used to seat just one person.
The fast food restaurant started offering dine-in services on March 10. The flow of customers has returned to half its normal level.
According to Song Yefei, the general manager of Chaoyixing Catering Co, 330 branches out of 430 have resumed operations and more than 30 customers are allowed to dine in at any given time.
