Caishi Creek, situated in Taohua (peach blossom) Valley of Mount Tai Scenic Area, is a typical geological landscape. At the stream bottom are colorful stones created by nature in nearly three billion years and thus the creek received its name of "Caishi Creek", which means a creek of colorful stones in Chinese.
The creek has a length of some 5 kilometers, with the places for fishing, Bifeng Temple built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), the peach garden and many other scenic spots along the way.
October and November are also the best seasons for visitors to enjoy the beauty of maple trees in Caishi Creek. Unlike Mount Tai Scenic Area, where it is always flooded with tourists, Caishi Creek is quiet and secluded suitable for a peaceful trip.
