A media delegation from Pakistan visited POWERCHINA on Oct 21, conducting interviews related to the company's businesses in Pakistan, according to local officials.
They said the delegation, consisting of 12 journalists, had an in-depth and friendly discussion with representatives from POWERCHINA.
They focused on further enhancing the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, promoting cooperation in the fields of international energy and infrastructure and exploring how to write a new chapter in the existing friendship between China and Pakistan.
The media tour to China is being staged jointly by the Chinese embassy in Pakistan, China Economic Net and POWERCHINA. Officials said the group interview aimed to strengthen communications among media outlets and further enhance mutual understanding and friendly feelings between the peoples of both countries.

The delegation visited the exhibitions featuring the theme of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The journalist expressed their admiration of the achievements that have been made by POWERCHINA in the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Officials from the company presented new ideas and initiatives that have been undertaken in actively participating the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as their practices and achievements in the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. They showed the delegation the company's advantages in international energy cooperation and infrastructure building.
Officials said that through their discussions delegation members got a feel for China's rapid development.
