POWERCHINA Chairman Yan Zhiyong met with a delegation led by Hubert Lienhard, CEO of Voith GmbH & Co in Beijing on March 20, exchanging views on cooperation in international projects.
Yan introduced POWERCHINA's global business development strategy and expressed satisfaction with the achievements in international projects undertaken by the two parties, who have built a long-term cooperative relationship.
POWERCHINA boasts world-leading EPC services in the development of hydropower, water works, thermal power, new energy, and transmission and distribution projects. Yan hoped that the two sides can seek new business models, promote joint development of international businesses, and together contribute to tackling the global energy structure adjustment and climate change.
Lienhard outlined Voith's development and the global layout of its hydro businesses. Voith has become a global leading provider of complete equipment for hydropower stations after over 140 years of growth. He also expressed his wish that the meeting will help the two sides deepen mutual understanding and boost their relations and cooperation to a higher level.
