Senior Chinese legislator meets with veteran Italian parliamentarian
Wang Dongming, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, met with Pier Ferdinando Casini, former speaker of Italy's lower house of Parliament and honorary president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, on Nov 7 in Beijing.
They discussed topics of common interest such as promoting China-Italy and China-Europe relations as well as strengthening cooperation between the legislative bodies of China and Italy.
